SemiFinal

Man U Vs AC Milan
Liverpool Vs Chelsea

Would this year saw the repeat of 2005 final Liverpool Vs AC Milan biggrin

As long Liverpool is in the final, I don't care whether AC or Man U.

Champion League Last 16

Well the final match of the group match has ended this morning and the final 16 teams that proceed to the next stages are as followed:

1) Juventus
2) Bayern Munich
3) Arsenal
4) Ajax Amsterdam
5) Barcelona
6) Werder Bremen
7) Villarreal
8) Benfica
9) AC Milan
10) PSV Eindhoven
11) Lyon
12) Real Madrid
13) Liverpool
14) Chelsea
15) Inter Milan
16) Rangers

Well, Manchester United is not in the list as they have lost to Benfica this morning. This is the first time that Manuchester United will not proceed to the last 16 in the last couple of year. Worse of all, they don't even qualify for the UEFA cup as they are last on their group table. It is the downfall of Manchester United (Only times will tell). Anyway, it is a good result for Liverpool fan

English Premiership Result this weekend

Wigan 1 Fulham 0
Spur 1 Arsenal 1
Birmingham 0 Everton 1
Charlton 0 Bolton 1
Chelsea 4 Blackburn 2
Liverpool 2 West Ham 0
Sunderland 1 Portsmouth 4
Middlesbrough 4 Man Utd 1

Look like Chelsea is maintaining the lead at English Premiership this week. Look like it will be quite difficult for the rest of the team to catch up with them. Well, there is one team that is catching the Premiership by surprise. The team is Wigan. They are currently second in the table and the team is working hard to drill out 1-0 result. Look like another last Season Everton form. No star players. Just hardwork. Let see whether they can mantain this form.

Champs Lge: Lyon, Chelsea, Liverpool on the brink

LONDON, Oct 19 (Reuters) - Holders Liverpool, Chelsea and Olympique Lyon set a course for the Champions League knockout stage, but there was an early scare for Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Lyon, who opened their Group F campaign with a 3-0 drubbing of Real, look certain to qualify after making it nine points from three games with a 2-1 win over Olympiakos Piraeus.

Real moved up to second place on six points but were trailing 1-0 to Norwegian outsiders Rosenborg Trondheim at the start of the second half before running out 4-1 winners. English defender Jonathan Woodgate, scorer of two own goals this season, headed the equaliser, Raul extended his European Cup scoring record to 51 and further strikes from Ivan Helguera and David Beckham turned victory into a rout.

Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool, on seven points apiece, are favourites to go through from Group G after the English champions crushed Real Betis 4-0 at Stamford Bridge and the European champions edged Anderlecht 1-0 in Brussels. Inter Milan's search for a third consecutive win ended in disappointment as they went down 2-0 at 2004 champions Porto but they still lead Group H after Rangers could only draw 0-0 at home to Artmedia Bratislava. Last season's losing finalists AC Milan had to settle for a 0-0 draw with PSV Eindhoven in a re-run of their semi-final with the Dutch side earlier this year. They lead Group E by a point after a six-goal thriller ended 3-3 between Fenerbahce and Schalke 04.
